U13M-A WIN SILVER IN ILE BIZARD TOURNAMENT

Suite à une finale très serrée qui s'est terminée en tir de barrage, les Red Devils U13M-A ont remporté la 2è place au Tournoi de Ile Bizard.

In a dramatic final ending in penalty kicks, the U13M-A Red Devils win the second place in the Ile Bizard Tournament.

Abou Sylla, attaquant de l'équipe MU16AAA, a été nommé Joueur Le Lait/RDS pour la 1re moitié de la saison de Ligue Élite dans la 1re diviision U16 masculine.

Ce prix est remis au joueur ayant reçu le titre de "MVP" du match le plus grand nombre de fois. Félicitations.

Abou Sylla, MU16AAA forward was elected the “Le Lait/RDS” player for the first half of the Ligue Élite 1st Division player.

This prize is awarded to the player who received the MVP title the most often during the regular season. Congratulations.

Impossible n’est rien, de la dernière à la première position, l’équipe féminine sénior les Northern Lights sont championnes en remportant la médaille d’or en séries finales de la ligue 2012 !

Avec un départ plutôt laborieux dans la saison, les Northern Lights en tout dernier rang, ont puisé dans l’énergie de leur formidable esprit d’équipe et ont raffiné avec dévouement, leurs techniques de passes, tactiques défensives et stratégies à l’attaque.  Beau temps, mauvais temps elles ont progressé un match à la fois réussissant à gravir le classement et à se tailler une  troisième position.  En séries de championnats, la formation s’est imposé et a enregistré deux victoires en marquant contre les équipes les plus titrés de la ligue sans concéder le moindre but et ainsi ont remporté la coupe finale! 

Quel exploit inspirant pour le soccer féminin, démontrant l’énergie et l’enthousiasme nécessaires face à l’adversité, la condition physique à tout âge et à travers les cultures ainsi que le plaisir de se rencontrer en pratiquant des sports!  Félicitations aux championnes de la Coupe Finale!

Impossible is nothing, from last to first place, the Northern Lights Women’s Senior Soccer Team grab gold in 2012 final league series!

Despite a laborious start in the season, the Northern lights last placed in rankings, drew energy from their formidable team spirit and worked devotedly towards refining their passing techniques, defensive tactics and offensive strategies.  Rain or shine they succeeded one match at a time pushing ahead of their rivals to secure a solid third place finish.  In the championship series the formation staved off league giants by winning two matches without conceding a goal resulting in a well deserved cup victory.

What an exemplary achievement in Women’s Soccer, showing the energy and enthusiasm required when challenged with adversity, physical fitness and well being for all ages and cultures and the pleasure of socializing while playing sports. Congratulations to the Cup Winners!

L’équipe a connu un bon début de saison. C’était une division très compétitive. Avec beaucoup de travail et de pratique, les joueuses sont devenues une équipe qui leur a permis de finir la saison en force et de terminer en 1e place. La grande qualité de cette équipe est son attitude positive envers leurs compagne de jeux et envers le sport. Ceci leur a permis de combler un déficit de 3-0 à la demie et de remporter la finale 4-3, en temps règlementaire et devant une foule très supportive.

The team had a good start to their season.  It was a very competitive division, with some extremely strong competition.  With dedication to hard work and practice, the girls came together as a team, which led them to end the season with a strong finish, and the top spot for the season.  The best attribute for this team is their positive attitude, towards the game, and their teammates.  This helped them come back from a 3-0 deficit at half time, to win their Playoff Final  4-3, in regular time, in front of a very supportive home crowd.
